Dumlupınar Submarine

Also known as: Dumlupinar Submarine · Dumlupınar

Dumlupınar sank in the Dardanelles on 4 April 1953. The TINA research team located the wreck by side-scan sonar near Nara, 100 to 125 m from the First World War British submarine E7. Gallipoli Wrecks lists it as the deepest wreck of its site list. Divernet notes that diving some of the deeper wrecks of the strait is possible only with permission from the responsible agencies.
