Baby Rocks

Also known as: Bebek Kayalıkları · Bebek Rocks · Bebek Kayaları

Bebek (Baby) Rocks lie off Büyük Kemikli where the Gulf of Saros opens to the Aegean, and boats reach them from Güneyli or Kabatepe. The current here makes the corals feed during the day, and the upper 20 m are thick with yellow and soft corals. Crevices hold red and yellow blennies, spiny lobsters and many moray eels, and dolphins, anglerfish and catsharks are also seen. The rocks hold several separate dive points. Local legend links the name to babies hidden on the rocks during pirate raids.
