Nine Foot Stake
Two mooring buoys mark the coral fingers of Nine Foot Stake, which lies close to the deeper Cayman Salvager wreck. Its shallow depth allows long dives looking for small life such as nudibranchs, cleaner shrimp, gobies and jawfish. At night hermit crabs, brittle stars and other nocturnal animals come out, which makes it a popular night dive. The remains of a small light structure can be seen, and barracuda and schools of reef fish are common.
