Black Rock

Also known as: Piedra Pretu

Black Rock, locally Piedra Pretu, lies on the wild south-east coast where few people dive. Coral-covered walls drop into open water, and the size and health of the colonies show how little the area has been touched. Schools of snapper and grunts move over the reef, nurse sharks are frequent and barracudas hang in the current. Because currents can run, it suits divers with some experience.
