Saint-Lucien Wreck
Also known as: Le Saint Lucien · St Lucien
The ship was built in 1920 in Aalborg, Denmark, seized in Scotland in 1940 and renamed Saint-Lucien in 1941 to carry ore between North Africa and France. Back under German control, it became the first victim of the British submarine HMS Unruly in 1943 and sank at the tip of Cap Béar. The hull, 80 m long and 11 m wide, lies less than ten minutes by boat from Banyuls. It is less intact than the Saumur or the Astrée.
