East End Pinnacles

South of East Point lie an inner and an outer group of pinnacles, really giant rock mounds with walls and crevices and boulders broken off around their bases. The outer group is deeper and more exposed to current but is especially rich in anemones and other invertebrates, making it a macro photographer's site. The inner group has more kelp and fish. Huge sun stars and many other sea stars are common on both, and the sand flats around them hold large sand rose anemones and halibut.
