Tracy's Bommie
Also known as: Tracey's Bommie
Tracy's Bommie combines a shallow sandy area dotted with small coral outcrops and a larger reef block whose back drops into deeper water. Several true anemones here host anemonefish, and giant moray eels and wobbegong sharks are seen under a ledge of a large bommie. The main reef is cut by shelves, crevices, overhangs and tunnels, although none is wide enough to count as a real swim-through. Fusiliers, oriental sweetlips, parrotfish, unicornfish and trumpetfish are common, and reef sharks and eagle rays cruise along the deeper edge. The shallows are good for snorkellers as well.
