Three Sisters (Milln Reef)

The Three Sisters are three big bommies on Milln Reef, and two of them stand only a few metres apart with sheer walls facing each other. The gap between them forms a mini canyon 2 to 3 metres wide, usually packed with fusiliers, snappers and clouds of glassfish. Gorgonian fans, swim-throughs and overhangs cover the bommies, and painted lobsters hide at their bases. Turtles and reef sharks are resident, and I Love Cairns counts it among the best dive sites out of Cairns.
