Blue Buoy

Blue Buoy lies north of Bashful Bommie on Opal Reef. Tourism Port Douglas Daintree describes loggerhead and green turtles resting together on a monolithic coral head. Schools of juvenile fish, pipefish and razorfish live around it. Scuba IQ admits the site does not look like much at first glance, but says the good parts are plentiful once you find them.
