Pink Beach

The entry from the sandy beach is among the easiest on Bonaire. The pink tint of the sand comes from tiny shelled organisms called foraminifera. A long swim over sand, where stingrays and bonefish are seen, brings divers to staghorn coral at about 6 m. The bottom slopes gently to around 12 m and then drops away as a wall. Because the site is on a bend, divers usually start against the current and ride it back.
