Guaraguao
Also known as: Guaraguao I · Guaraguao II · El Parque · Parque I · Parque II
Guaraguao lies at the western end of Cotubanamá National Park, where the reef system towards Saona begins. Soft and hard corals rise from white sand, and the site is usually run as two neighbouring dives, Guaraguao I and II. Historic cannons, cannonballs and a musket rack recovered from Spanish shipwrecks sit among the coral. A light current often lets divers drift gently along the reef, and visibility is often very good. Dive centres describe it as suitable for all certified levels.
