Mangel Halto Reef
Also known as: Mangel Halto
Divers walk in from the beach into a shallow, calm bowl that is ideal for courses and discover dives and holds the small Kappel wreck. Beyond it, the outer reef drops from about 5 m to well over 30 m with brain corals, deep-water gorgonians, anemones, and tube and vase sponges. Octopus, seahorses, morays and schools of tropical fish are regularly seen. The inner reef is sandy and full of crustaceans, while the outer reef needs a longer swim but rewards with dramatic structures.
