Ligpo Island
Also known as: Ligopo Island
The island is small enough to circle in one dive, though divers may need to shelter from the current. The east side has a cave, while an undersea mount on the west side reaches greater depth and draws pelagic fish when the current runs. Gorgonian fans and soft corals cover the wall, with pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs and small crustaceans among them. Hawksbill turtles patrol the reef and red-toothed triggerfish swirl above it. At neap tides it also makes a good night dive with moray eels, catfish and squid.
