Cathedral Rock
Also known as: Cathedral
The two rocks form a roofless amphitheatre, and the cross stands on the sand between them at about 15 to 18 metres. Local accounts link the cross to former president Fidel V. Ramos and say it was blessed by Pope John Paul II before it was sunk. Divers and conservation groups planted coral fragments around it over the years, so the once barren rock is now covered in hard and soft corals, sponges, hydroids and feather stars. Because the fish were fed here for many years, snappers, surgeonfish, batfish and anthias come close to divers. The tops of the rocks lie at about 5 to 8 metres, so newer divers can stay shallow while others explore the deeper outer slopes for macro life.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
