Sisters Rocks
Also known as: The Sisters
The highlight is the ocean face of the Outer Sister, a sheer drop-off surrounded by clouds of butterfly perch. From about 30 to 35 metres its base carries sea whips as tall as two metres, along with anemones, soft corals, sponges and broad patches of yellow zoanthids. The rock walls linking the Second and Outer Sister are also rich in fish and sponges. The rocks are exposed and only diveable on calm days, and a current runs at times. The deep section is so absorbing that bottom time needs close watching.
