Medhu Faru
Also known as: Medu Faru
With incoming current divers start on the outer reef along a long ledge around 30 metres, where sea fans and whip corals reach into the current. Near the corner the channel wall becomes steeper and a large rock covered in soft corals forms a small canyon at about 18 metres where sharks, jacks and tuna gather. Between 10 and 15 metres there are caves and ledges, and on the sandy channel floor blue-spotted rays and ribbon eels can be found. Maafushi Scuba reports mantas with outgoing current, and Diverland warns that strong outgoing currents can be dangerous.
