South Point
The wall drops vertically and is covered in some of the island's finest coral formations. On early dives, divers descend to a ledge and look into the blue at around 40 metres for scalloped hammerheads, which are never guaranteed. Grey reef sharks, eagle, devil and manta rays and herds of bumphead parrotfish are more regular. The shallows hold leaf scorpionfish, porcelain crabs and a big school of bigeye trevally that divers can swim through for many minutes. The dive often ends on the reef top, where the blue-ringed octopus is sometimes found.
