Chandelier Cave
Also known as: Chandelier Cavern
A small opening at about 4 m leads into a chain of chambers, four of which are flooded and can be visited by divers. Divers can surface inside the air pockets of the chambers and look at the stalactites, then continue to the last chamber with a torch. The cave formed in dry limestone before sea level rose after the last ice age, and a halocline of fresh and salt water can be seen inside. Small shrimps and crabs live on the walls, mandarinfish hide near the entrance, and old depth charges lie by the mouth.
