The Gardens
Near the cliffs the depth is about 5 to 10 m, and the bay floor stays at around 10 to 15 m for a long way before reaching the sand at about 18 m. Cracks and small archways in the wall at the back of the bay invite exploration. Painted moki, snapper, porae, angelfish, goatfish and eagle rays are typical, and giant boarfish hide in sunken bowls further out. In summer stingrays are often found on the sand line.
