Terumbu Dua
Also known as: T2
T2 sits closer to Perhentian Besar than T3 and is therefore the easier and shallower of the two. The offshore pinnacle is surrounded by a shallow coral reef with colourful soft corals, sea fans, sea whips and barrel sponges. Dive centres recommend it for macro photography because of its nudibranchs, sea slugs and pipefish. Bumphead parrotfish and the occasional eagle ray pass by. Some groups combine it with T3, but most dive centres treat the two as separate dives.
