D'Lagoon
The bay shields the reef from wind and current, so conditions are usually gentle and the water clear. The reef starts at the shoreline and gives way to sand at around 12 m. Divers who take their time find nudibranchs, squid, cuttlefish, scorpionfish and blue-spotted stingrays, while turtles, bumphead parrotfish and Jenkins whiprays pass through. Blacktip reef sharks are seen at times, and the bay doubles as a nursery for juvenile fish. Dive centres also use it for night dives.
