Tawala Sanctuary
Tawala Sanctuary was once a rich garden of table and staghorn corals until typhoon Pablo broke much of it in 2012. The reef is recovering, and the rubble has become a good place for camouflaged animals such as scorpionfish, stonefish and frogfish. Several kinds of pipefish live here, including harlequin and ornate ghost pipefish, and white-eyed morays are common. Dive The World says it is dived most often at night.
