The Spit

The Spit lies on the west side of North Muiron Island and is dived as a wall that falls to about 18 m off a rocky ledge. Three large swim-throughs along its edge are filled with glass fish and schools of small baitfish. Grey nurse sharks and turtles are sometimes found resting under the ledge, and manta rays pass by. Dives finish on top of the wall over soft coral gardens.
