Ras Samid

Ras Samid marks the southern mouth of Khor Qabal. Divers enter inside the bay in very shallow water and follow the reef east towards the point, where it drops as a wall and slope to sand. Soft corals cover much of the reef, and shoals of barracuda and fusiliers, batfish, cuttlefish, lobsters and turtles are common. ScubaGo rates it well for macro and night dives, and Sheesa Beach suggests it as a third or night dive of the day.
