Ras Lima
Ras Lima lies just outside Lima village, close to Lima Rock, and offers a coral slope that runs down to a sandy bottom. Divers usually enter inside the bay and follow the reef towards the point, where pinnacles rise and fish life thickens. Freestyle Divers calls it one of the most underrated sites in Musandam, good for both macro and wide-angle photography. Harlequin shrimp, whip gobies, nudibranchs and cowtail rays share the reef with turtles, yellow snapper and geometric morays. Beyond the point an underwater ridge runs towards Lima Rock, and the bay gives shelter when strong easterly winds blow.
