Passe en S
Also known as: Longogori · S Pass · Mayotte S Pass
The pass is named after its S shape, which follows the course of an old river from the last ice age, when the sea level was much lower. Coral heads, fringing reef and walls covered in gorgonians line both sides, and each mooring buoy marks a slightly different dive. Divers either stay around one buoy or drift from one buoy to the next with the tide. Turtles, groupers, Napoleon wrasse, rays, nudibranchs and clownfish in red anemones are regular sightings, while sharks, manta rays and even a dugong are reported now and then. Plongeur.com notes that most of the life is found in the first 25 m, and Nyamba Club takes first-time divers and night dives to the pass.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
