At this point of the northern barrier the reef has broken down, so the wall plunges very steeply into deep water close to the reef edge. Plongez! calls it a realm of pelagic fish. The magazine advises going with dive centres that know the site well because of the currents. Nautilus Plongée names it among the sites it dives.
