Passe Bouéni Sud
Le Lagon Maoré describes an eastern slope that climbs from 40 m to a plateau at about 10 m and a western wall that starts at 4 m, drops to 15 to 25 m and then slopes beyond 45 m. Acropora corals, gorgonians, soft corals and sponges cover the reef. Small life such as shrimps, nudibranchs, flatworms, glassfish and leaf fish shares the site with black and paddletail snappers, blue triggerfish, butterflyfish and angelfish. Mayotte Tourisme calls the lagoon side very bright, with plenty of corals and fish.
