Wied iz-Zurrieq East Reef

Also known as: Zurrieq East Reef · Left Wall

Entering from the left side of the bay, divers find deep water almost at once and follow a cliff covered in colourful sponges. Large boulders near the bay shelter groupers, breams and brown meagres, and a shelf at about 9 m is good for octopus. Visibility can be excellent and large shoals of small fish attract bigger hunters. Cuttlefish and flying gurnards are seen on the sand.
