Lembeh Resort House Reef
A sand and seagrass bed at 2 to 7 m leads to a slope from 8 to 15 m, where artificial reef balls attract extra life. Lembeh Resort counts 31 genera and 150 species of hard coral, and branching corals shelter many mandarinfish. A buoy line from 2 to 15 m and back makes it easy to dive the reef without a guide. Pinnate batfish, broadclub cuttlefish, ornate ghost pipefish and many shrimps live here, and nocturnal molluscs make it an excellent night dive.
