Gishippu West

Also known as: Gishi Nishi · Kame House · 儀志布西 (Japanese) · カメハウス (Japanese)

North of Turtle Paradise, a rock shelf at about 10 m runs along the island and gives way to a rocky slope down to around 30 m. Diving WG says hawksbill turtles are common, and Liberte reports up to ten green turtles on a single dive. Anthias, purple queens and damselfish gather on the edge of the shelf, and large schools of fusiliers sometimes sweep past. Divers usually anchor, but drift dives are used to cover more ground.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
