Arari

Also known as: アラリ (Japanese)

Diving WG says the name comes from a dive site on the Izu Peninsula with a similar sandy landscape. Rocks scattered over the sand carry nudibranchs and sea squirts, and one has an arch just wide enough for a single diver. Towards the shallows, coral reef with large schools of damselfish begins, and looking down from the coral onto the sand shows how clear the water is. Green turtles live around the coral heads. GOLD often combines Arari with neighbouring Kurumai.
