Uminchu

Also known as: 海人 (Japanese)

Reef blocks were sunk on white sand in front of Tokashiku Beach, and schools of snappers and damselfish now crowd around them. Visit Okinawa mentions pinnate spadefish and saddleback clownfish, and Marine Diving web adds Kerama anthias and red-spotted clownfish. Divingpoint.net describes blocks marked by a buoy and fish that rush towards divers. Marine Diving web gives a boat ride of about three minutes from Aharen port.
