The Docks

The Docks lies inside the bay on its northern shore, where the reef stays close to the foot of the cliffs. Large boulders form a network of caves and swim-throughs, among them the Double Decker Cave, the Long Cave and a vertical swim-through that drops behind a rock and exits onto sand. A bright torch brings out the colours of the sponges, sea squirts and gorgonians. Eastern blue devilfish, weedy seadragons, blue gropers, bull rays and giant cuttlefish are among the fish reported here. On night dives red indianfish and harlequin ghost pipefish have been found.
