Baie Ternay Marine Park

Also known as: Bay Ternay Marine Park · Ternay Bay Marine Park · Baie Ternay

Baie Ternay is a marine park whose sheltered cove holds one of the most popular coral reefs around Mahé. A shallow reef slopes gently from a few metres, and a satellite reef lies deeper. Hawksbill and green turtles, stingrays, whitetip reef sharks, groupers, octopus and lobsters live among hard and soft corals. Equinoxe divides the park into three sites, Pierre Plate, La Réserve and Anse au Rie. Dolphins pass through, and whale sharks have been seen here in season.
