Kadavara Gala
Also known as: Kadawaragala · Kadwaragala Rock
Kadavara Gala takes its name from the god Kadawara, who according to local legend reached Sri Lanka in a stone boat and landed near this rock. International Diving School counts it as part of the Hikkaduwa reef and barrier, with plenty of corals and marine life. Poseidon describes it as a pretty rock formation similar to Sunil Gala. HikkaduwaNET gives a boat ride of about 20 minutes.
