Dalyan Bay

Also known as: Dalyan Koyu

Dalyan Bay is a small and well protected inlet, the next bay south of Yellowstones Bay, and one of the standard training bays of Fethiye. Its shallow rocky and gravelly back is where many first-time divers take their first breaths underwater. Because so many try divers feed the fish, breams, wrasses, damselfish, yellow-spotted puffers and groupers crowd around divers. Octopus, nudibranchs and sometimes young barracuda complete the picture. The bay is tight and busy, so a surface marker buoy is a good idea.
