Gudja Cave
Atlantis places the cave on Gozo's north coast, close to the Taċ-Ċawla caves, and reserves it for advanced divers. Deeper inside, the passage narrows and grows shallower until a crack at about 6 m with a halocline and a small air chamber, fed by fresh water at the back. The mix of fresh and sea water creates unusual light effects. Nudibranchs, damselfish and bream live around the cave and sponges colour its walls.
