Frade
Also known as: Ilha do Frade
Frade, listed by PADI and the Ilha de Noronha agency as Ilha do Frade, is a dive off the eastern side of the main island, inside the Marine National Park. Atlantis Divers and Noronha Diver both mark it at 23 m, and the Ilha de Noronha table gives 10 to 23 m for intermediate divers. PADI classes it as a reef dive and names sharks, whales, dolphins and turtles among the common sightings.
