San Simone 2
Also known as: San Simone II
The crack is crowded with anthias and damselfish, and lobsters, morays and many nudibranchs live along the ledge. On the sandy bottom a small cave shelters a forkbeard, and on isolated rocks at about 40 m grows a yellow branch of Savalia, the false black coral. A larger cave with a vault of cup corals and sponges is home to a big school of cardinalfish. Dentex often hunt above the anchor chain at the end of the dive.
