The Caves
At The Caves the walls drop at about 60 degrees to a sandy floor. Along the base runs a row of caves where sweepers, soldierfish and pufferfish hide among sea plumes. Bushes of black coral grow on the walls. After dark divers meet Spanish dancers, sleeping fish and many nocturnal crustaceans. Patches of hard coral separate the site from the neighbouring Mushroom Wall.
