The Arch
Also known as: Blue Hole Arch
The Arch is the submerged tunnel that connects the inside of the Blue Hole with the open sea and is the most famous technical dive in Dahab. Its top begins at about 52 to 56 m, and the passage is roughly 26 to 27 m long. Light from the open side creates a deep blue effect, and the floor seems to drop away without end. A dive through it is a long decompression dive with several gases, and it has caught out divers who tried it without the training, which the memorial plaques at the Blue Hole recall.
