Coral Garden

Coral Garden shares its entry and exit lagoon with the Canyon, but on leaving the lagoon divers keep right and head south instead of towards the fissure. Just outside the lagoon a striking pinnacle attracts anthias, glassfish, unicornfish and crocodilefish, and the dive continues along a rounded coral wall with the open blue on the other side before rising into a shallow maze of sand and coral blocks. The corals stretch from about 5 m down to the reef edge at roughly 21 m. Blue-spotted stingrays, fusiliers and damselfish are common, and a large Napoleon wrasse or giant moray may appear. The colourful, shallow garden makes it a favourite with underwater photographers and a popular second dive after the Canyon.
