Snake Bay

Also known as: Slaagbaai · Slangen Baai

After crossing a sandy plateau divers reach the reef at about 10 to 13 m, where a slope of hard corals and sponges begins. The usual route goes left, towards the east, and the most interesting part on the way back lies between 10 and 15 m. Soft corals, curious eels and sometimes reef sharks are mentioned by local instructors. The small sandy beach is a favourite with locals at weekends.
