Cayo del Agua
Also known as: Cayo Agua Rock
The centrepiece of Cayo del Agua is a single large rock standing alone on the sand. It climbs from around 18 m at its base to about 9 m at the top and is covered in corals and sponges. Large schools of fish gather around it, including curious Atlantic spadefish. Moon Travel Guides adds that barracuda, nurse sharks and sea turtles visit the rock. Currents range from mild to strong, which is why Culebra Divers rates it from beginner to advanced.
