The Sec à Joël is an offshore shoal off Cerbère, dived by boat by the Cap Cerbère dive centre, which shows it in one of its site videos. Plongeur.com lists it as a deep shoal with reef and fixed fauna such as corals. The coast around Cerbère is known for groupers, brown meagre and red gorgonians.
