Les Contrebandiers
Also known as: Cap Béart Contrebandier
The site lies right at the tip of Cap Béar and is only dived in very calm wind. Many small canyons cut the rock, and yellow and white gorgonians grow in shallow water. The nutrient-rich current that sweeps the point can sometimes be strong and brings plenty of fish, nudibranchs and spiny lobsters. Heading south the dive crosses coralligenous areas and ends in the caves of Sainte-Catherine.
