Vickers Viking Wreck

Unlike most aircraft wrecks around Corsica, this is not a warplane but a passenger aircraft. According to Corse images sous-marines it was carrying the Holiday on Ice troupe when it lost height and landed on the sea, and everyone on board escaped unharmed. The Viking was a twin-engined British airliner derived from the Wellington bomber. Plongeur.com lists the site near Tizzano as a boat dive between 10 and 15 m.
