Les Cloches

Also known as: Lavezzi Les Cloches

The site is close to the memorial of the Sémillante shipwreck and is dived when the wind blows from the west. The dive starts among scattered boulders in clouds of damselfish, sea bream and wrasse, then reaches a meadow of algae-covered rocks. Groupers and hunting dentex are common, and moray eels and slipper lobsters hide in the holes. The shallow area is one of the richest in the archipelago in amphora fragments, a reminder of the ships lost on these rocks since antiquity.
