La Revellata
Also known as: Rivellata
Because diving is not allowed inside the reserve, operators dive its edge, where life from the protected zone spills over. A rocky pinnacle with walls and canyons is so large that local clubs say it can be dived many times by different routes. Groupers, dentex, corbs, moray eels and a school of barracudas are common, and red coral and red gorgonians cover the deeper rock. Crayfish and forkbeards hide in the cracks. The site lies 5 to 15 minutes by boat from Calvi.
